WTP:Everyone Needs A Champion


In her 2013 TED Talk, renown educator Rita Pierson proclaimed that every young person needs a champion to believe in them and push them to be the best. We all at one time or another needed a Champion. Who are you championing now? Who are you believing in to be and do better and become the best they can be?

Cory and Joseph’s story is an example for all, one of Hope and Action. Joseph a homeless high school dropout approached Cory for guidance. While others dismissed Joseph, Cory became Joseph’s champion and believed in his potential and gave him the tools to turn his life around. Today Joseph is no longer homeless, is completing high school, and is now employed. Take a look Below.
